Team History

We have been participating in VEX IQ for 4 years. Some of our team members have changed from year to year. Here is a quick recap:

2016-2017
-
In our first year we had three people on our team, Grace, Jonathan, and Reuben.
The challenge that year was the Game Crossover, and we competed in the Western Pennsylvania State Championships. We won the Judges Award for overall impressing the Judges with our performance, and our STEM Project.

2017-2018
-
We had four people at first, but two left, so Emmanuel and Jonathan were left.
The challenge that year was the Game Ringmaster, and we competed in the following tournaments:

The Bull Ringmaster hosted by Hereford NTHS

Western Pennsylvania VEX IQ State Championship

2018 CREATE U.S. Open Robotics Championship - VEX IQ - ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DIVISION
We won the STEM Research Award for the best STEM Project and the Excellence Award for the best overall robot and program, which we both won at the West Shore tournament. We also qualified and competed at the U.S. Open Robotics national championships in Iowa.

2018-2019
​ We had five people at first, but three couldn't stay, so Jonathan and Ana were left.
The challenge that year was the 2018-2019 Game Next Level, and we competed in:

Widener Pride Next Level Qualifier
​
We won the Design Award for the best Engineering Notebook and the Teamwork 2nd Place Award for coming in second place at West Shore. We also won the Teamwork Champions Award for coming in first at Widener, and the Create Award for the best robot design to solve the problem at the Eastern Pennsylvania State Championships.

4th Year(this Year) - The challenge this year is 2019-2020 Game Squared Away, and we are planning to compete in:
